Freaking Palmetto Bugs. State bird of South Carolina.
No, really. The things are, like, three to four inches long at biggest. D: THEY'RE WHY I'M GOING TO GET A BUNCH OF C
NOW THAT I AM SETTLED IN I have decided that I like SC. :D IS PLEASANT. ...Not counting the winged scourges of the night (see: mosquitos) and GIANT FUCKING ROACHES EVERYWHERE. I've actually suggested using electric mouse traps--if they zap cave crickets (maybe half an inch long), they'll get palmetto bugs. Assuming that it doesn't just make them angry... *hates roaches*

I hate my brain sometimes. Hate it, for all the things wrong with it. Hate it, for my lack of stability, emotional and mental. Hate it, because while an explaination helps, it doesn't erase.

Also, the South is awful in the summer. Humid and hot and filled with fifty bajillion goddamned mosquitos.
At least it's pretty, there's not a lot of traffic, and the neighbors are nice. Also, lots of doggies. And gigantic, hand sized spiders that eat the goddamned mosquitos. Even if they are really creepy.
IN OTHER NEWS I'm playing Pokemon Colleseum(sp?) again. :D I'm already up to the fight with Nascour, although right now I need to level grind; my mons are about 10 levels short of what I need (otherwise known as "my Amparados gets Ice Beamed into oblivion without being able to get a move in") to beat them. BUT STILL! Soon I will be able to get Ho-oh! And when I find my other memory card, I'll purify my Shadow Lugia and transfer them both to my Diamond. SO CLOSE TO COMPLETE POKEDEX OMG <3 <3

If you're going to make a sequel to games like this, at least give it more then one gen inbetween. IT'S TERRIBLY ANNOYING FOR THE FANGIRLS,
Of course, i'm also going on my hunch of "not actually made by Camelot/made by a different team" which to me screams "BAD FANFICTION IN GAME FORM JESUS CHRIS

So, uhhh... there was partytiems, and GradNite was fun, because I count "DDR-induced severe ankle damage" as fun. And I went on a boat on Sunday. :D It was surprisingly fun!
Other then that, I've been recovering from a weekend of partytiemz and trying to get into the library--I can't drive, and even if I could WE ONLY HAVE ONE CAR. BAAAAAARRRRGH, I WANT TO GO TO THE LIBRARY ALREADY!!
Also, I got my first 100% on a Guitar Hero game. The DS version is apperently easier then the normal version. :| Hmm.
BUT WHATEVER. SLEEP NAO.

:/ To get to the point, they announced GS3. I've looked at the beta stuff and, frankly, I'm not impressed. I know it's really early in the game, but... it's UGLY. And I wanted a prequel, not a sequel. Stop screwing up my dreams of guylove, Camelot. Unless they went crack pairing on us. I'm cool with crack pairings.
TO BE LESS FANWANKY AND MORE GRAPHICSWHOREY: The game isn't as pretty as even the beta of the original was, and that thing was pretty fugly. The backgrounds are blah and blurry, as compared to the nice, crisp, colorful glory of GS/TLA, and the sprites aren't as nice. And yes, I'm a graphics whore in this case. Shove off, it's supposed to be gobsmackingly pretty.
But it's hard to beat a game that is the second prettiest thing I've seen on any system, FF3's intro sequence being the first--that thing is gorgeous.
I just hope it actually is a prequel, and Golden Sun Universe was misinformed. ._. I... really don't want to deal with Isaac/Jenna or Isaac/Mia, because Jenna's a psychopath. And Mia is boring, so she's bad too. WHY CAN'T ISAAC JUST MARRY THE NICE ITEM S

On another note, I plan on raiding the library soon. >_> If one goes there and finds large portions of both Pterry and Mercedes Lackey's sections missing, I take the blame. I've been deprived of reading material for far too long and my brain is ravenous. I've read over five large novels in less then a week.

I am out of the hotel now, though. I'm visiting my aunt in... Delaware I think? I slept (badly) through all of the "Welcome to [insert state here]!" signs, so i'm not sure. We'll be spending Spring Break here, and if all goes well, we'll have a house soon.
This is assuming that the universe doesn't pull a spiteful prank on us, of course. >|

Seriously. They do. It's horrible. D:
BUT in better news, my family has found a good house--smaller then the old one, with five bedrooms. For some reason. Whatever, the smallest bedroom is going to be the computer room anyway. We'll continue negotiations with the owners and have to fill out paperwork and stuff before moving, so a few more days of hotel life for me.
I just hope we're in there before Easter. :<
BUT hotel life is not all bad. Because the breakfast is amazing. You can make your own waffles! And you can mix plain yogurt with stuff to your tastes. And Muffins and donuts and omg the breakfast here is awesome~ :D
My dog has adapted fairly well. The only things that really gave him problems were the elevators and mirrors--he's never really dealt with anything more reflective then glass before now. He's really calm and well behaved and the only thing that drives me nuts is how he insists on turning into room 304 when we're 302.

Why am I in a hotel? The house my parents were renting got foreclosed because the owners didn't pay the minimum balance. We got locked out on... last Tuesday and spent two days clearing out the house because if they didn't let us get our stuff we would have sued their collective asses. That, by the way, was what I was doing Friday: Taping boxes and carrying heavy things. Also discarding half of what I owned and possibly losing Elite Beat Agents to those bastards.
We, of course, left them our trash. I wish them hell even if it isn't the cleaning people's fault. Screw you guys, I'm stuck in a hotel sharing a room with my perpetually PMS-y sister.

Lost Kingdoms/Geneforge crossover. HELL YES. <3

In other not WHY-DOES-MY-BODY-HATE-ME news, I've started finalizing the body structures for some of my species~ Plus, I've started a new FireRed game. I feel... nostalgic. I want to play Yellow again now~ but I don't want to lose my Pokemon. :< Eh, I could always play my borked Silver until I drop it too hard or something. So I'm stumbling through the second FE. I'm doing really poorly so far, but that's mostly because I can't read anything and therefore don't know how to save. I think I did... once... but I have no clue if I actually did or not. x_x This is bad because I recognize some of the tunes from later FEs, and it's a good game, even though it's a bit of a crash course in the old FEs. But that's because I suck and the game is harder then I'm used to because of the RNG system. :B
I'm not sure if anyone knows enough Japanese to translate the menu from screenshots, but if you do please tell me. I need all the help I can get. x_x Hard game is hard and made harder by my failiness.
EDIT: ALSO I LACK A JAPANESE-ENGLISH DICTIONAR

HOWEVER I got bored and decided to give a quick look-over of a game I got for Christmas called Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Dungeon. I know, you all love me~ <3
Like it sounds, it's pretty much a Final Fantasy version of the Mystery Dungeon series. This means randomized areas everywhere except the towns, and an insane difficulty curve. It's a lot less forgiving then the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, because you lose all non-equipped items and Gil when you lose. And believe me, you will, especially in the Special Rules dungeons, although they don't let you take anything into those dungeons. All in all, fairly standard for... I'm pretty sure it's called a rogue-like. Not sure.
Other then the expected butt-hurting difficulty curve (which I love/hate, but YMMV), the game is very nice. The only thing that really gets on my nerves is the Lostime Town camera and the voice acting, although it's nowhere near as bad as Baten Kaitos or UQM voice acting, and that can be ignored. I especially liked all the little things, especially how they made it fairly obvious that Chocobo is a kid. EEEEE, THE PLAYGROUND ANIMATIONS. <3 Adorabibble, especially the slide animation.
All in all pretty good game, if it weren't for the water dungeons. HOW WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR ARMOR TO RUST? Y
Also, minigames! While it's less annoying then many FF minigames in that it's optional, it still get annoying due to the enemy AI and a undersensitive Wiimote, but that's a fairly common problem and nothing to whine about. MEH.
